Anna Papageorgiou STEM Center
Anna Papageorgiou STEM Center
In memory of Anna Papageorgiou, wife of the founder, Nikolaos Papageorgiou, the Board of Directors of the Foundation decided to provide a sum for the completion of a state-of-the-art bioclimatic building, serving as a model for innovation and environmental responsibility, to be exclusively dedicated to the teaching of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) on the Anatolia College campus.
The Anna Papageorgiou STEM Center, covering a total area of 950 sq.m., began operating in 2020, housing Chemistry, Physics and Biology laboratory courses for Anatolia College students, as well as Center for Talented Youth programs. It serves as the hub of educational activities organized by the STE(A)M Education Center both for Anatolia College students and the broader community of students and teachers.
